Our Relief History

Standing With Communities in Their Toughest Times

From pandemics to floods and communal violence, we've been on the ground since 2018 — providing timely relief and hope wherever it was needed most.

COVID-19 relief distribution
2020

COVID-19 Relief

  • Provided dry food rations to more than 12,000 daily wage earners and slum dwellers.
  • Distributed over 1,60,000 freshly prepared meals with community kitchen partners for migrant labourers in Gurugram.
  • Distributed ~8,000 soap cakes, ~6,000 kg detergent powder, and ~10,000 masks across Gurugram and Patna to encourage sanitisation.
  • Partnered with other NGOs to send 14 buses of migrants home to MP, UP and Bihar, under Gurugram administration's supervision.
  • Adopted 60 destitute single mothers, providing ration and gas cylinders for long-term cooking needs.

Communal Riots in Delhi

  • Dry ration provided to 100+ families affected by the riots.
  • NCERT textbooks (Class VII–XII), notebooks, pens, pencils, storybooks and biscuits distributed to approximately 200+ younger children in the affected communities of North East Delhi.
Bihar floods relief effort

Bihar Floods

  • Close to 1,000 kg of ready-to-eat meals — noodles, milk powder, biscuits, baby food and dry ration — distributed with the Rotary Club of Patna, Goonj (Patna Chapter) and Rabta (NGO).
  • Basic medicines, chlorine tablets and cleaning materials distributed through local partner Patna Diaries.
  • One mini truck (75 boxes) of old and new clothes distributed through Rabta and Goonj.
  • 75,000 sanitary napkins distributed through Sr. Sudha Varghese's network of schools and convents across Patna, Danapur, Gaya and surrounding areas.
Kerala floods relief effort

Kerala Floods

  • Ready-to-eat meals — fruit juices, biscuits, noodles, milk powder, baby food — for approximately 1,000+ families.
  • Medicines airlifted with CSR teams from Air India and IndiGo, per requirements from Trivandrum Medical College and Ernakulam district hospital.
  • Insulin for ~200 patients personally carried by pilots under strict cold-chain preservation, delivered via a human chain to Trivandrum's Chief Medical Officer.
  • Chlorine tablets, sanitary napkins, diapers, soap, detergents, mosquito repellents and clothing distributed to affected areas and community shelters.
